Chat not!
I was visiting at a friend's house, whose daughter has Java-enabled computer -- tried to get onto the chat for OVER half an hour! Easy chat instructions? I don't think so. I registered at the last chat and NEVER got my password from Tripod. I tried to register tonite to get on with no success because I did not have a password. "Twas mighty frustrating. What am I to do?

Hi! Nurse Bernie!
How are you feeling? I remember when I was your waiter, and then the year after, I was a specialist and sat at your table in the mess hall! Those were the good ol' days. (Things aren't too bad today !!!)
To everyone else, I just received a card from Ethel. She is very excited about the web, and promises that if we have another reunion, she wants to help out in the menu planning! We should start thinking of 1-9-9-9, 50 years of Camp Mar-Lin.

You must be getting lonely at camp all by yourself. Therefore, loving webmaster that I am, I will be visiting you at camp very soon. If possible, let's organize a search party and seek out the Spirit of Billy Phillips which most surely can be found in Woodglen II, at the Boathouse, on the Blockhouse Trail around 2:30 am, in Cabin 9 around 3 am, and everywhere in between. I will also bring a 4 month supply of STRONG coffee to get you through the winter at camp. If you need any other supplies I'm sure Joe Wacunis can help you out. See you soon.

I am finally in cyberspace!!!!!!!!!!
I suppose out here all the stars are our candles on the lake. I love and miss all of you. This is quite a yearbook. Ethel and I are recouping from cancer and uncle charlie is hanging on. Bob and I have two children; one is at Syracuse, the other is in middle school. I'd love to hear from all of you . My camping days are with my 6th grade class and I have a bigger and better flashlight for the woods because where I am, there are bear. I got to play the werewolf at the campfire which Charlie would never let us do at ourplace, except for "HOOS". They pulled a raid on me, but it was all good memories and lots of fun. Contact me at my E-mail address.
Love, The lin of MarLin (canteen-unit head)

HELLO
What happened, did I stymie everyone with my serious note? Anyway, I'm still at camp and the water pipes are beginning to freeze, can anyone send me some bottled water to rinse my hair. Believe it or not the BIG D is still here even when the kitchen has closed.Supplies are getting low at the canteen, but Charlie's cabin is full of goodies taken from the campers..I've been putting messages on these little floating candle holders on the lake, but i think someone has been picking them out of the water as soon as they go past the bend,,my laundry hasn't come back from the last time,,ethel's clothes dont fit me too well.... well, i'll keep in touch, if you can find the time, send me a postcard, it gets lonely here at camp all by myself....bye for now....LP

SERIOUS NOTE!!!!!!!
Here's a serious note, from a not so serious guy..If you haven't thought about becoming an organ donor, don't think about it, just sign your license and become one. If everyone was a donor people wouldn't have to wait so long and become sicker. None of us are going to need any transplantable organ when we die, so give the gift of life to someone who needs it. Of course, we don't think about it until it hits close to home, but if i tell all of you, and you tell someone else, soon we all will be donors. Thanks for your time, and i'll try not to be so serious next time...LP

Updated Menu
To help keep all of you little campers warm and toasty, as the leaves begin to fall from the colorful woods of Camp Mar-Lin, we will now be serving Hot Bug Juice at every meal.

Winterizing the Cabins
Now that we are well into the Fall season at Virtual Camp Mar-Lin I will be enlisting your help as we begin insulating your bunks. To keep the cold wind out we need to post your photos all over the walls of the cabin. Please contact me if you have photos to add to the collage.
