Comments: Steve Titunik, who worked as aWaterfront Specialist during most of the sixties, lost his son Michael in an automobile accident a few weeks ago. Steve and his wife have established a scholarship foundation in his name to provide aid to students at Michael's high school in Virginia. Comments: After her camping days, Roseannne went on to get her Ph.D. in nuclear physics at Caltech. She worked her way through school as stripper, and eventually became a full professor at MIT. Leaving there in 1984, she worked for a while in the aeronautics industry, and then as a croupier in Vegas. She is presently married and the mother of quints, living quietly with her family in a suburb of Banff, British Columbia. She has let it be known that she regrets her wanton camping days, and just wants to be left alone.

I just finished winterizing OL 3, and this year the administration coughed up the bucks for a heat efficient wood stove. Larry Phillips will be arriving at OL 3 today and he will be the Camp Director for the winter of 2001/2002.

Comments: I was just walking back to my office when I heard the distinct voice of Herbie May. We spoke on the street for about 45 minutes. He was in New York City to meet Chazz later in the evening for dinner. herbie was with his daughter, who actually seemed normal. He told me two weeks ago he became a GRANDFATHER!!!I'm ready for a good game of Flag Rush.

Comments: Midsummer's greetings campers! Since the creation of this website in 1996 the Internet Industry has gone through some manic changes ( UP & DOWN). In the beginning, many resources were available for free, enabling us to devleop the Camp Mar-Lin website with many cool features, such as The Registry. Many of the original internet companies have shut down their websites and gone out of business. One of these was toolzone.com, which hosted our Camp Registry. They disappeared without any warning to me, with no chance to recover the latest entries on the registry. Fortunately, I have a text copy of all of the entries up until 12/19/00, and will add them to the website at a future date. Meanwhile, the Bulletin Board still functions.
With hunderds of websites closing down in the past year, I'm happy to report that campmar-lin.org is here to stay. With your cooperation and continuing support someday we may acquire AOL-Time Warner!
